Para dar los primeros pasos de este blog qué mejor que unas cómodas bailarinas y si tienen un toque chic muchísimo mejor.

How could we better start our new blog than with a pair of comfy pretty ballerina shoes? And if they have a touch of chic and glitter even better!

Ahora nos colocamos frente a este camino de baldosas amarillas y juntando nuestros pies, como Dorothy, damos tres golpes suaves de talón para que nos lleve hasta nuestro particular Oz y nos dé suerte en esta nueva andadura.

Now we face this yellow brick road, like Dorothy did, we tap our heels together three times to take us to our particular Oz. Hoping to give us the best of luck in this new journey.

Aquí estamos, “Con la realidad en los talones”. Llegar hasta este nombre nos ha costado una eternidad y varias conversaciones disparatadas al cubo. Y su ¿por qué? Nos parece divertido utilizar una referencia cinematográfica y así dejamos entrever que aunque tenemos los pies en el suelo, nos gusta volar mucho. Y más con los tiempos que nos está tocando vivir.

Here we are! “Con la realidad en los talones”. It took us an eternity to decide the name of the blog with loads of insane ideas and suggestions. And you may be wondering... why did they pick it out?  Well, it seemed to us funny to use a cinematographic reference, so we give a glimpse of its content. And although we have our feet on earth, we love to fly high. Especially living in this hard times.

Y ahora nos presentamos que tanto hablar, todavía no lo habíamos hecho:

Mi nombre es Miss Fair, más bien es mi nick como blogger. La decisión la tomé porque en inglés “fair” tiene varias acepciones “pálida”, “clara”, “justa” que creo que se adaptan bien a cómo soy. Físicamente soy un auténtico rostro pálido y en cuanto a mi personalidad diría que soy bastante clara. Así que en mi opinión me va como anillo al dedo.

My name is Miss Fair, well that is my nickname in the blog. I chose it because in Spanish means “pálida”, “clara”, “justa”, and I think these adjectives describe me very well. Physically I have pale skin and regarding my personality I would say I am quite crystal clear. So it suits me perfectly!!

Mi apodo es Miss Giggles. Hace referencia a mi forma alegre y risueña de mirar a la vida. Intento sonreírle a los problemas aunque te pongan obstáculos y barreras.

My nickname is Miss Giggles. It refers to my cheerful, bright and smiling way of looking at life. I smile to the problems even when there are stumbling-blocks everywhere! I always try to look on the brightside of life! Laughter after all is the best medicine!!

Y la última, que no menos importante, Miss Coccole. Será porque me gusta dar mimos a la gente, ese es su significado en italiano, cultura a la que en cierto modo me siento ligada. Así define dos características mías.

And the last but not least, I am Miss Coccole. It could be as I like giving hugs to everybody - that is the meaning in Italian. I feel very close in a certain way to Italian culture. They are two characteristics of my personality.

¿Y de qué vamos a hablar? Va a ser un auténtico cóctel de nuestras aficiones, opiniones, curiosidades, críticas, historias, cotilleos… En definitiva de cualquier tema que nos guste, entretenga y nos resulte interesante. Ahora ya podemos decir que somos tr3s bloggeras!

So, what are we going to talk about? It is going to be an authentic and unique cocktail about our interests, opinions, curiosities, stories, gossips and much more!! In short, it will be about any topic or current affair that we like, entertain us or just it turns out to be interesting. Hence we can finally say that we are thr33 bloggers!!
